FAQ

Why select Vance Exley Tennis for facility management?

We have the experience and expertise necessary to maximize your tennis facility’s usage, custom-tailoring our strategy to meet your organization’s specific needs, and delivering a world-class tennis experience.

What should player bring to Vance Exley Tennis programs?

Players need only bring a racquet – Vance Exley Tennis provides all balls and specialty equipment. Racquets are available for those players who do not own one at the time of first session.

Players should bring their own water – and plenty of it. Vance Exley Tennis carefully monitors for signs of heat exposure/exhaustion and dehydration. And don’t forget the sun block!

What should my child wear to Vance Exley Tennis programs?

Tennis specific clothing is not required, but your child should dress to be both active and comfortable depending on the time of year. Athletic footwear is required, and we recommend tennis shoes or cross-trainers for players 10 years and older.

We ask our players to dress to prevent heat exhaustion (light colors and hats are a plus).

What do we do if it’s inclement weather?

Vance Exley Tennis will not cancel sessions due to rain showers, but in the event of heavy storms, lighting, or extreme cold (below 40F degrees at time of program) we will notify you via our twitter feed on our website www.vanceexleytennis.com in advance of the session, with best-efforts made to provide you sufficient notice for you to adjust your schedule accordingly. Please follow us on twitter @coachvtennis.

Does Vance Exley Tennis offer multiple-child discounts?

Because our programs are already priced as low as possible to best fit your budget, we cannot offer additional discounts.

My child has no tennis experience – are Vance Exley Tennis programs appropriate for him/her?

At Vance Exley Tennis we put the needs of our players first – we offer a range of levels, grouped first by age and then by skill/experience level. We will make sure to best fit your child to the appropriate division and ensure them a positive, supportive and educational experience.

Are the programs co-ed?

Yes, unless otherwise stated by the individual program.

Participation & Refunds

What if my child misses a session?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide make-up sessions without prior approval before the session is missed. One of the greatest benefits of Vance Exley Tennis programs is the intimate feel of moderate class sizes – we do not want to compromise our players’ experience with an over-booked session.

Can I receive a refund?

Refunds will only be issued in the case of a medical situation. Documentation from a doctor is required.

If a child is not willing to participate in the classes, a credit voucher will be issued. The voucher is non-transferable. Credit vouchers must be requested no later than 48 hours after the second class. A class will count if at least 30 minutes of the class is completed.
